Description

Manufactured by SST, the LuminOx range features a series of factory-calibrated optical oxygen sensors that utilise a luminescence-based measurement technique to determine gaseous oxygen levels with precision and efficiency.

The standard LuminOx model is designed to be fully immersed in the gas sample, delivering consistent performance in environments ranging from vacuum to high oxygen concentrations. Its advanced construction ensures minimal cross-sensitivity to other gases, making it ideal for use in mixed or dynamic gas environments.

At the heart of each sensor is SST’s patented luminescence quenching technology, which enables long operational lifespans without the degradation typically seen in galvanic or electrochemical sensors. Because the sensing method is non-depleting, the sensor maintains accuracy over extended periods with low power consumption.

Equipped with onboard temperature and barometric pressure compensation, the sensor simplifies integration by outputting corrected values directly. Data is communicated through a UART interface, removing the need for external signal conditioning.

LuminOx oxygen sensors are fully solid-state and free from hazardous materials like lead or liquid electrolytes, aligning with RoHS and REACH standards. With short lead times and technical support available, LuminOx offers a flexible and robust solution for accurate oxygen monitoring in a wide range of applications.
