Description

SST’s Zirconia Oxygen Sensor System provides a complete, ready-to-integrate solution—eliminating the need for customers to design their own supporting electronics. Commonly deployed in combustion control systems, such as coal, oil, gas, and biomass burning, it’s built for demanding environments.

This system combines SST’s fast-response zirconium dioxide oxygen sensor (T90 <4s) with the compact OXY-LC interface board, ensuring reliable, real-time oxygen measurement. The sensor’s design incorporates a robust zirconia sensing element that doesn’t require a reference gas, making it ideal for use in harsh or high-temperature environments.

The integrated system uses a closed-loop measurement approach with a built-in heartbeat signal for constant feedback and fault detection. Designed for ease of installation, the compact probe features an M18x1.5 thread and is suitable for use in environments up to 250°C. The zirconia oxygen sensor supports oxygen measurements across both 0.1–25% and 0.1–100% ranges depending on the interface configuration, with a potential service life of up to 10 years.
