Screened Cable Oxygen Sensor (Zirconium Dioxide Probe)

The screened cable version of the T6 oxygen probe is designed to minimise the effects of EMC noise within industrial environments. This screened cable oxygen sensor is available in probe lengths up to 600mm and comes with 1.2m cable attached complete with flying leads. Suitable for aggressive and polluted applications such as boiler exhausts. Longer probes are an ideal solution for thicker walled, insulated flue pipes. The screened cable oxygen sensor can be used in processes operating in temperatures up to 400degC and connects to SST’s oxygen control boards via their screw terminals for 4-20mA, 0-10V or RS485Modbus RTU outputs.

Their long operating life is due to the non-depleting sensor cell technology. No reference gas is required and easy single point calibration can be performed in any known gas including fresh air.

The zirconium dioxide screened cable oxygen sensors offer standard 15 seconds and fast response 4 seconds response times. The screened probe zirconium dioxide oxygen sensor offer a linear output signal, a lifetime of up to 10 years (depending on the application), and covers an oxygen range from 0.1 to 100% O₂.

SST’s range of zirconium dioxide oxygen sensors use a unique closed loop measurement system. While the sensor continuously measures the oxygen level, a heartbeat signal is also generated providing an immediate warning of any failures.
