The Miniature PCB Mounted Zirconium Dioxide Oxygen Sensor is supplied pre-soldered to a PCB and includes a heat-isolating PTFE spacer. This configuration simplifies mounting and cable connection for ambient sensing applications. The spacer not only insulates the PCB from the heat generated by the sensor, but also provides clearance for sealing the sensor with an O-ring against a manifold in flow-through setups.
SST’s miniature zirconia oxygen sensors feature a distinctive closed-loop measurement system, delivering continuous oxygen readings alongside a built-in heartbeat signal that indicates the sensor’s operational status in real time.
Thanks to non-depleting sensor cell technology, these sensors offer a long service life without requiring a reference gas. Calibration is straightforward and can be performed at a single point using any known gas, including ambient air.
With a compact diameter of just 12 mm, the miniature sensor is ideal for space-constrained applications. It offers two selectable response time options, operates within a temperature range of -100°C to +250°C, and provides a linear output signal across the full 0.1–100% oxygen range. Depending on the application, it can last for up to 10 years.
