This screened cable zirconia probe is designed for reliable oxygen measurement in polluted or aggressive environments, including boiler exhausts and industrial flue pipes. The zirconium dioxide oxygen sensor is available in 220 mm, 400 mm and 600 mm probe lengths, making it suitable for thick-walled or insulated systems.
SSTβs zirconium dioxide oxygen sensor uses a closed-loop measurement system for continuous oxygen monitoring. The zirconia probe includes a built-in heartbeat signal that provides instant fault detection and helps confirm that the sensor is operating correctly.
Thanks to their non-depleting sensor cell design, these units deliver long-lasting operation without requiring a reference gas. Calibration is simple and can be performed using any known gas, including ambient air.
Offering both standard and rapid response times, as fast as four seconds, the sensors come in multiple probe and cable lengths and support both standard and extended temperature ranges. With a linear output signal and an oxygen detection range of 0.1 to 100% Oβ, they can operate for up to 10 years depending on application conditions.
